Kalkkuna oljilla

Marraskuun 18. päivänä vuonna 1928 Mikki Hiiri esiintyi ensi kertaa elokuvassa. Steamboat Willie Junior oli filmin nimi, Disney-tuotantoa, animaattorina Ub Iwerks.

Sen jälkeen kun Minni saadaan laivaan, alkaa hillitön musiikkiperformanssi, jossa ei eläinkunnan edustajia säästellä - EVR puuttuisi asiaan jo alkumetreillä.

Soittokappaleena hiiripariskunnalla on alunperin Natchez Under the Hill-niminen viulusävelmä, joka on myöhemmin saanut useitakin sanoituksia. Tässä ehkä tunnetuin, "Turkey on the straw".
